In order to implement the "Ten Guidelines for the Professional Behavior of Teachers in Colleges and Universities in the New Era", to further strengthen the ideological and political construction of teachers' morality and ethics, to build a firm ideological defense, and to enhance the cultivation of teachers' morality, the College of International Exchange held a special study meeting on teachers' morality and ethics on December 8th. The meeting was hosted by Comrade Gu Wanhong, secretary of the College of International Exchange Party Branch, and all the faculty and staff attended the meeting.

Ms. Gu Wanhong, the secretary of College of International Exchange, read and studied the "Measures for Handling Teachers' Moral Misconduct in Hankou University", "Measures for Notifying and Warning Teachers of Teachers' Moral Misconduct in Hankou University", and "Ten Guidelines for Professional Behavior of Teachers in Colleges and Universities in the New Era" and other documents. Participating teachers also discussed and exchanged views on ideology and politics, academic ethics, education and teaching, work and life, integrity and self-discipline.

Participating teachers have expressed that teacher ethics is an important part of the quality of teachers, is a teacher in the work of health activities must abide by the moral code and code of conduct. As a university teacher in addition to loyalty to the cause of education, caring for students, but also consciously to high standards for themselves, always pay attention to their own words and behavior, to noble character infected students, with rich knowledge to lead students.

"If his body is correct, he does not order; if his body is not correct, he does not obey even though he is ordered." This special study on teacher ethics has strengthened the college teachers' understanding and alertness of the construction of teacher ethics, and further enhanced their awareness of teacher ethics. The College of International Exchange will continue to strengthen the education of teachers' ethics in the future, and promote the steady improvement of the quality of education and teaching in the College with excellent teachers' ethics.
