In order to help international students better master the basic knowledge and reading and writing skills of Chinese, and cultivate their ability to communicate in Chinese, the College of International Exchange held a Chinese language learning guidance activity on November 29, 2023. The activity was presided over by Comrade Gu Wanhong, the Secretary of the College of International Exchange Party Branch, and Teacher Zheng Yuling, the Director of foreign Chinese language.
Admission guidance
On the morning of November 29th, Comrade Gu Wanhong, on behalf of the university and the college, welcomed the arrival of all the new students, and made a detailed introduction to the university and the college, the rules and regulations of the university and laws and regulations for the international students in China. At the same time, Comrade Gu Wanhong also focused on explaining the "Management Manual of International Students in China", "Regulations on the Management of International Students' Apartments in China" and other documents, and explained in detail the basic requirements and norms of international students during their study in China, including admission regulations, course arrangements, graduation requirements and other aspects. It also emphasizes the code of conduct of international students and the safety standards of the apartment, including the requirements of daily safety education, abiding by laws and regulations, school rules and regulations, respecting teachers and classmates, maintaining good campus order, and actively participating in campus activities.
Finally, Comrade Gu Wanhong encouraged the international students to keep in touch with the teachers, consult more frequently, strengthen interaction and communication, and enhance mutual understanding with the Chinese students and teachers, so as to be a positive and energetic young student.

On the afternoon of November 29, Ms. Zheng Yuling patiently explained the training objectives, curriculum requirements, professional development prospects and other aspects of the college's major to the freshmen, helping them to further understand the learning courses of each major and their professional advantages, so that the students could have a clearer understanding of their learning tasks and development direction, so as to make a clear plan for the university study life.
This guided learning atmosphere was warm and interactive, which enhanced the interest and ability of international students in learning.
